Ohio Small Business Administration Success Story: The Studio

The Ohio Small Business Administration (SBA) recently published a piece about The Studio, Hamilton’s own paint-your-own-pottery shop located on Main Street. This shop, owned by Lori and Erin Noga, opened late in the summer of 2016 after working with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to do market research, develop a business plan, secure capital, and choose a location. The Butler County SBDC, hosted out of The Hamilton Mill, was selected as the national SBDC of the Year by the U.S. SBA. This annual recognition awards the SBDC that exemplifies excellence in several different categories including business starts, capital infusion, jobs created, and jobs retained.
