TKBThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America (TKBA)
ThyssenKrupp Bilstein of America (TKBA) is a manufacturer of automobile parts. In 2011, TKBA announced the transfer of the Real Time Damper systems (RTD) technology from its main plant in Germany to their Hamilton, Ohio facility. Producing these parts in Hamilton will eliminate costly imports, provide quality jobs, and increase the opportunity of expanding sales of this product. This project will create 60 new jobs and retain 185 jobs at the Hamilton facility. The total project investment is estimated at $7.3 million. 

 

 

Matandy Matandy
In 2008, Matandy Steel & Metal Products broke ground on a 32,000 square foot expansion to their existing nail operation facility. Matandy specializes in flat rolled slit coiled and sheet materials. Matandy has been a longtime corporate citizen, making significant improvements to the Hanover-Walnut Redevelopment Corridor. This project resulted in the creation of 7-10 new full-time positions. This project is located in the City of Hamilton’s Renewal Community Area and involves an approximate investment of $2.1 million. 

 


JN Linrose JN LINROSE
In late 2009, Matandy Realty broke ground on the construction of a 52,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing facility. The building’s steel structure was developed on the 5.6 acre site of the former Crown Industries, Inc./Hamilton Die Cast facility. Mantandy Realty acquired the property from the City of Hamilton after the demolition and remediation of the site utilizing the State of Ohio’s Clean Ohio Assistance Fund. Matandy Realty invested an estimated $2.5 million at the project site. It will operate as JN LINROSE Manufacturing. JN LINROSE manufactures light gauge metal framing for commercial and residential construction. This project has yielded approximately 10-15 new jobs. 

 

Interstate Warehousing of Ohio IW
Interstate Warehousing of Ohio, LLC is located adjacent to the Ohio-4 Bypass, midway between OH-129 and I-275. Interstate is a cold storage distribution warehouse; the existing facility consists of 350,000 square feet and employs approximately 180 employees. Interstate is in the process of expanding their facility in Hamilton and when complete it will add an additional 90,000 square feet to their current facility and create 20 new jobs. The capital and equipment investment for this project is $11.7 million.
