Downtown Marriott – 2009
In 2008, renovations began at the former Hamiltonian Hotel located in downtown Hamilton. With a $10 million private investment, the property was retrofitted into a Courtyard by Marriott. The Courtyard, located along the Banks of the Great Miami River, opened in spring of 2009.

Historic Mercantile Lofts – 2011
The Mercantile Lofts consists of 31 market-rate loft spaces above street-level storefronts. Phase I (the first of three adjacent buildings) is complete, and Phase II (Two adjacent properties) is projected to be completed in spring 2012. Phase I of the renovations was awarded Heritage Ohio’s Best Mixed-Use Rehabilitation Project for 2011.

RiversEdge Development – 2012 
This brownfield redevelopment of a former hospital will be the home of Hamilton’s new downtown riverfront overlook and park and will be the host of numerous civic and entertainment events. On the remaining acreage, a public-private partnership is being sought for mixed-use development.

East High Street Corridor – 2012 
The East High Corridor plan aims to take on streetscape and strategic property improvements along a 6-block stretch of High Street which is the area between Route 4 and downtown Hamilton. This project is an essential bridge between the stunning entrance into the City from I-75 (via OH-129) and Hamilton’s attractive downtown area.
Artspace Hamilton – 2013 
Artspace Hamilton is a residential project comprised of 36 affordable live/work spaces for artists and 3,000 square feet of commercial space located in the heart of downtown. Artspace, a non-profit located in Minneapolis, MN, is the owner, operator, and developer of the $10.2 million project. With nearly 40 Artspace locations around the United States, Hamilton will be Artspace’s first location in the state of Ohio.
